1. Uncover the problem.
Set aside a special time for contemplation set aside a maximum of 30 minutes. A special time to digest and understand again the problem you are facing. However, that does not mean that you are too lamenting about the problem, so that you can make choices and avoid feelings of hopelessness.
Should it be worrying and there is fear? Or actually just trivial things that should not take up your mind and energy. You also have to think about it.
2. Talk to yourself less.
Approximately 80% of the conversation and drawing conclusions with oneself is often negative and irrational. Then you become more anxious, depressed, disappointed, or afraid. Just remember, those thoughts may be just thoughts, they haven't come true yet. So don't get into the conversation or draw conclusions with yourself too far.
3. Write down all your thoughts and various alternatives that may occur on a sheet of paper.
After calming down, try to take a sheet of paper and start writing down all the things you are worried about. After that, go through each point and write down beside it any alternative good or bad events that might have occurred. This is one of the actions so you can see what steps occur in your next activity.
4. Take appropriate steps to solve the problem.
Don't run away from problems. Most people actually take the wrong action, namely running away from the problem rather than having to face the problem to be solved.
Fight the problem. Take your scribbled paper back, read it again, and start sorting out the problems that really need solving. With a clearer mind, you can take the steps that are really needed.
5. Relax and indulge
Get rid of the negative thoughts that have been hanging on your mind for a long time. Stay relaxed and calm. Imagine something beautiful and say it will be all right. Vacation or gathering with loved ones can also be your alternative to unwind and pamper yourself with the fun you do.
6. Do your hobby or pleasure
Divert your attention for a moment on hobbies and pleasures, such as shopping, watching TV, reading books, visiting friends or playing sports. In essence, do something fun first in order to build a good mood rather than your mind messed up.
7. Be optimistic
If you have tried various steps but have not found a satisfactory solution, please smile and tell me I can definitely complete it. But, maybe it needs to be remembered that excessive optimism causes us to live in falsehood because there are many possibilities we deny the reality. Meanwhile, excessive pessimism can cause tension or prolonged stress.
What we need and instill is a balance between optimism and pessimism. This balance of attitudes will raise expectations that remain realistic. So that we can view life more wisely. Happy thinking positive and staying optimistic.
